Amazon.com Product Description The versatile Rawlings Playmaker Series PM130 Glove can be used for baseball or softball. Its 13-inch length and deep pocket ensure that it is well-suited for the special demands of softball, while the same design features can also be put to good use by baseball outfielders looking for a glove with a long reach. Gold logo lettering lets your competitors know that you're playing with a glove from the Gold Glove Co, and this full-grain leather glove's black and dark brown color scheme helps show off Rawlings trademarked Basket Web pocket design. This time-tested design combines with an all-leather palm to help the PM130 offer the durability and glove control that you expect from a leading brand like Rawlings. A support strap keeps the web tight as you break in your glove, while the trademarked Overlapping Closed Fastback provides a comfortable fit for further responsiveness. Perfecting catches since 1887, Rawlings has over 100 years of experience crafting fine baseball gloves for every type of ball player.

super glove April 25, 2010 Pauline Lewin (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
i throw ball with my 16 year old and his old glove was getting too small. this glove is a great buy. it is well-made, flexible and is perfectly shaped. super buy!
A great glove July 9, 2010 Shiloh L. Dion (New Britain, CT) This is a great glove for any sports enthusiast. It's very comfortable and soft. Once this breaks in this will be my favorite glove. A must have!
Good quality glove August 24, 2010 J. Swanson I normally hesitate to buy things like gloves, shoes, clothes (anything that has to fit my body) online. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend that anyone and everyone stick with Rawlings when buying gloves; there is a reason they are known as the gold-glove company. I've gone with cheaper gloves and ended up spending more when the damn thing fell apart after a relatively short life, spend the extra $10-$20, it's well worth it. The glove is a bit stiff when it's brand new but this is a sign of a quality leather, so actually the stiffer the better. Beware of any glove that feels like it's flexible and broken in on day one, it's a sign of poor quality. A bit of advice: The best way to break in a new glove is to USE IT and conditioning it with 'professional' oils isn't really necessary; if you want to use some kind of conditioner shaving cream works great (if it's good enough for my face it's good enough for a cow's...well you know). Still, using the glove is the only necessary step to breaking it in, you may regret taking advice from people who tell you to saturate it with heavy oils, beat it up with hammers and other objects, or "cook" it. Anyway, I'm so pleased with the quality versus price aspect of this product that I've purchased additional gloves for family and friends. The size is also perfect for the outfield or infield, in other words it's versatile and even large enough to play softball with if the occasion arises. If it matters to you, I would say it's an attractive glove as well.
good price, good quality, nice mitt June 6, 2010 Patrick Flynn (Boston, MA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this for a softball league and even though it's not that big it catches softballs fine and is of a good quality for the price. I recommend this product for anyone looking to get a mitt at a fair price - for the casual baseball/softball enthusiast.
Rawling glove August 30, 2010 Wade Karasik I have had it about 1 hear now and it ended up being my favorite glove. I found if I switch off too often then I start to make errors because I get further away from reacting to the feel... It seemed like it took longer than normal to break it in but once I got there, it was worth it. It holds its form really well and seems pretty durable as well. Right now, its the only glove I use.
